Counselling will benefit anyone in Ararat who recognises they have issues in their lives for which they currently have no answers or resources. The desire to change is really all you need to get started.
Counselling is as close as a phone call away. All you need to do is contact me and make an appointment at Point of Change Counselling Ipswich. You do not need a referral from a doctor or other professional. Anyone 18 and over can make direct contact for a counselling appointment; people under the age of 18 may need an appropriate adult to arrange the initial appointment for them.
Although centred in Ipswich, Point Of Change Counselling has also been established with a view to supporting the counselling needs of surrounding areas such as Brisbane, Toowoomba, Logan City, and Gold Coast too.
Men are feeling increasingly comfortable accessing the services of a counsellor, as they recognise their need for support with life issues. Counsellors are mainly female, however, their training equips them to offer impartial support regardless of gender. We have been supporting male clients for over fifteen years.
Counselling can often cost more than $100 per session. At Point Of Change Counselling Ipswich, we strive to make our services as accessible to the greatest number of people possible. For this reason, an average 50 minute session costs $65, with a reduced rate of $35 applicable to all holders of concession cards. Payments can be made by cash or credit card. We accept American Express, Mastercard or Visa.
Confidentiality is given the highest value at Point Of Change Counselling. This means that no other professional, family member or interested party will have access to any records relating to your sessions, or will even be told that you are seeing a counsellor. This is part of the written agreement entered into before the counselling process begins.
